THE NATURE OF MAN

The First People of the First World, Tokpela, were granted "pristine wisdom - they understood that the earth was a living entity like themselves."

My purpose for repeating the obvious, that a living entity has a body, mind, soul/psyche, and spirit is, that a poster recently remarked rather sarcastically how ignorant Plato was to think and write that "planets were divine beings." Ridicule the Hopi now - if you can.

The First People "knew their mother in two aspects which were often synonymous-as Mother Earth and the Corn Mother. "In their wisdom they also knew their father in two aspects. He was the Sun, the solar god of the universe. Yet his was but the face through which looked Taiowa, their Creator."

In the words of Philosophers: behind the vislible sun it the eternal spiritual sun, or, the visible sun is but a lense through which the eternal spiritual sun focuses his energy, warmth, and love for this world as light.

"These universal entities were their real parents, their human parents being but the instrument through which their power was made manifest. In modern times their descendants remembered this."

If White Bear uttered these words, he lets it be known that he remembers this. And if all that is written in the book of the Hopi are his, the words of an "Elder", in western terms he would be called an Adept - capable of, and assimilating knowledge.

"The first People, then, understood the mystery of their parenthood. In their pristine wisdom they also understood their own structure and function-the nature of man himself."

And so the Greeks, and others before and after them, keep reminding us "Know Thyself", and you will know the earth and the universe. The Hopi affirm my philosophy teachers words: man and the cosmos evolved together, and, we didn't evolve on the earth but with the world, in saying:

"The living body of man and the living body of the earth were constructed in the same way. Through each ran an axis, man's axis being the backbone, the vertebral column, which controlled the equilibrium of his movement and function. Along this axis were several vibratory centers which echoed the primordial sound of life thoughout the universe or sounded a warning if anything went wrong."

I just love the twins of the Hopi, the echo twin, being sound, and everything is sound, the other twins duty being to put "his hands upon the earth so that it will become fully solidified", affirming again, this time the words of my mentor: sound is perishable, the spirit of redemption (with the Hopi the twin on the right side of Spider women, Poeqanghoya) realized this at once and stayed sound in nature.

Man the microcosm - according to what is written in the book of the Hopi. The, what you people call new agers, know nothing of this, save some of them talk about chakras, they are bussy burning black candles clad in long flowing gowns, imagining they are gods and goddesses, or the incarnations of some Egyptian king or queen and so on, and some probably think they came to this, the fourth world, dare I say UFO's without all hell breaking loose again.
