Eh, I don't think he quite meant it that way, Marduk. On a funny side note that kind of is in theme:

When I picked up my son from school today, he told me very excitedly that he had found out what his clan was today. I asked him, "your clan?" questioningly and he said "yes, my Navajo clan." I thought for a moment and asked him what his Navajo clan name was. He replied proudly, "baggadonu" and commented that it sounded like somebody running the words "bag of donut" together. I just repeated the word to myself, trying to figure this one out when he added that there were other kids in this clan, too. He then proceeded to list his 4 caucasian classmates. I started laughing at that point. You see, he hadn't quite heard the word right. It was "bilagaana" so basically, they were all in the "white man" clan.

I don't know what is funnier, the fact that the teacher gave them this name for a clan or his trying to pronounce it as "baggadonu"...
