I've got other problems too. For the time-frame of Athena's War, I have chosen around 1442BC. There is some margin of error, though. Trying to synchronize this with Egypt, I find the Amenhotep 3 Aegean list. This seems to list city names that correspond with the grandsons of Danaus, meaning my timeframe could be at least 2 generations too late.

In this hypothetical scenario, the flood of Deucalion and the war get moved back (2 generations)50 years, and would seemingly correspond with the reign of Hatshepsut. This time-frame would seemingly rule out the hyksos. Manetho does seem to place the flood of Deucalion in her reign, so I can't disqualify this alternate time-frame, which is not presented in the theory.

The gist though, is that IO forms a colony in Egypt, 2 generations later, the war and the flood happen. Aeolus and Atlas should be gen 4 along with Belus, and Danaus/Atlantia and the Plieades and Phaethon should be gen 5. In this scenario, the war may occur up to one generation before Atlas. Matching generations is a bit tricky though.

So lots of hypothetical questions, and what if's, but few answers.
