It needs no support for a very very simple reason;

The current belief is that the Pyramid Texts is fully understood and it is a book of incantation.

Obviously this is a most extravagant claim that can not be shown or supported in any way at all other than through later writing. The belief the PT is understood is wholly dependent on the assumption that the people, their culture, the language and their religion remained unchanged for 3000 years. This is obviously a very dubious assumption in light of the many mysteries about the great pyramids and all of their builders.

The assumption that nothing changed can not stand in a vacuum and certainly not against the gathering storm.
