I agree - and I think the method(s) will turn out to be a great deal more simple and practical than many current theories suggest, with a mix of human ingenuity, cooperation, effort and utter determination - qualities sometimes lacking in our modern societies. No magic, no gimmicks, just hard labour, patience, and sublime craftsmanship. We live in an age - and a service based economy - where few of us make anything anymore. Perhaps some of us grudge the thought of the AEs achieving what they did on their own and within their limitations, and hence the need to throw some "x" factor into the equation that denies them the credit they deserve?
