I assume that you are referring to the granite blocks, weighing 40-50 tonnes (about 2m thick and 5.25m long) and used for the construction of the relieving chambers ?
Imo ;
1) for instance, these massive blocks were not transported up the pyramid on ramps or so, but were hauled up only one level (course) a time. The lowermost granite block is located, if I recall, at the 75th course. So, the upward movement of the relieving chamber-blocks was carried out in at least 75 steps. They raised while the pyramid gained height. No need for kites = much too complicated, dangerous.
2) the lowermost of the granite blocks was simply horizontally dragged in place, using the surface of the course where it lay upon, waiting till the moment arrived to put it in place. The next granite block had to wait till the next few courses were finished to drag it in place. No kites needed.
