Hello Scott,
I've just taken a look at the everleaf.com.
I see what you mean about certain artwork that could be interpreted as 'kite-handling artefacts'.
But what is the use of 'kite-handling artefacts' if there isn't a kite to utilise them?
I mean, are we seriously expected to consider The Winged Disk of Horus a kite?
Then there's the point that there is a world of difference between raising an obelisk and tilting it into a hole and lifting and manoeuvering massive blocks of stone anything up to 480+ feet above the ground.
Imagine the fun involved in lifting and manoeuvering by giant kite the 20+ feet long, 70 ton blocks that make up the King's Chamber ceiling.
It is an imaginative theory, but I simply can't see it offering any plausible answers to the questions of how the pyramids - and Khufu's in particular, because of its sheer size - were constructed.
Regards,
MJ
