Thanks for your thoughtful reply. When I first started reading the PT's I quickly became convinced that they dealt exclusively with the night sky and that they were part of a vast astrological/astronomical system that has since been lost. I toyed with the idea of delving further into that hypothesis but realized it was "above my paygrade", and retreated back to just reading them for the enjoyment of glimpsing into a lost world.
