I don't doubt you're correct but find it puzzling that they would call
on other gods for assistance and speak of the exploits of other Gods, but
not the kings. This isn't to say the kings couldn't have been gods but
it would seem to put them in a much different class that the more "useful"
or "vengeful" Gods.
