But Manhattanhenge does not encode his birth ,the pheneomenon does not work on his birth date . The common denominator is the only the latitude ,which means that the sunrise/set will be the same given that the horizons are also similar .If they wanted to encode his birthday then they would need a different bearing for the street .The commissioners plan makes no mention of Alexander's birthday , the only coincidence is the similar latitude .
