I just read the text and the Horizon analagy is pure and simple, scientificaly MEANINGLESS propaganda!!!

They link "Grand Central Station, the New York public library, Maceys, Madison Square Gardens, the Central Post Office, a Theatre, a University, Times Square, the Rockefeller Centre and a police station" to form Leo.

Jezus Mary and Joseph(!) -- any fool can do this. It means nothing!!!

This isn't even a valid criticism of Hancock's Cambodian temples - which are characterized without support as his "most important pieces of evidence" - let alone a criticism of the OCT.

None of these buildings bear any relationship with one another. And they are selected from what is possibly the most densely urbanized area in the world purely on the basis of whether or not they fall under a given star!!! Unbelievable! I cannot believe someone got away with this!!!

This is hokem! Pure hokem! I can't believe that the BBC put this shloch on the air and pretended it to be a valid criticism.

YES...Hancock selects only a few of the temples from Ankor Wot - and this <i>is</i> a valid critique - however, all of his buildings are taken from a small area of the entire complex and include all of the major structures from within that area. Furthermore, all of Hancock's structures are obviously thematically related. To say that the New York analogy is no analogy at all is a massive understatement.

The Draco alignment is hardly precise so its not a cut and dry case. But to suggest that the New York analogy is comparable is an outrage!!! No wonder he and Bauval were disgusted.

So far as I am concerned, Hancock's critics should have attacked this program with fury. Why? Because this is junk-science! Junk! Total Junk! It implies that Hancock's critics actually believe this a valid criticism - which I am certain is not the case.

If this was the best they could do to argue against Hancock, they would be a sorry lot indeed! This is no argument at all. It is propaganda for the masses.

Any one who defends this crapola makes themselves look like an idiot. That the BBC actually defended this nonsense is the real reason for shame. The producer ought to have been fired!

There goes any respect I ever had for Horizon!
