<HTML>"Truth" in science is an impossibility.

"Fact" is what we must seek.

All else is theory.

Seems like a minimalist perspective, but I think in this discussion is accurately applies.

Would you agree then that once you have the facts (artifacts, strata, c-14, style, etc) that all else linking these objects together... even if they are found right next to each other in the excavation ... is merely theory?
