You are using in situ predictional theorizing as a substitute for repeatability.

Seems like you have to approach a site with a certain level of "assumption", however, rather than an open mind to find what you find on the site, and then incorporate it into the theoretical revision and fine tuning.

Would you say this creates a bias?
