the formula is a very simple one

first: you draw a square.
Next: you draw another one just like it
third: you adjoin them

No one was required to take off their boots during the preceeding demonstration of advanced geometric design.

I can think of a few compelling symbolic interpretations for a two square rectangle in ancient egyptian Royal architecture but am loathe to clutter up this thread with relevant facts.
