Actually, 1/0 is "undefined", not "infinity".

Philosophically speaking it is asking how many nothings are in a something. Technically, if it is a pure something, then there are no nothings in it. If a nothing takes up no space, then there is room for an infinite number of nothings in a something.

Hence, the answer to that equation is, actually, undefined.

Doesn't change any of the facts of your post, but it is a bit of mathematical lore that should be communicated accurately.
