This is weak evidence.
Gantenbrink reports about average angle of 31.2° for the "Mankiller" tunnel and, therefore, one might think that this section of the shaft is straight, but Petrie gives three different measurements for this section:
1) 32º 4 '45 "(At 84 to 180 in.)
2) 31º 37 '15 "(At 180 to 300 in.)
3) 30º 43 '15 "(At 300 to 372 in.)
We can see that in reality the angle varies within more than 1° and the shaft is steeper to the outside (therefore, it can not point to Thuban in 2550 BC).

It seems to me that a segment of a shaft with such a changing angle of inclination cannot be a "strong" evidence of anything (1° of difference in the altitude of a star gives uncertainty in time of about two centuries).
If we take into account that we consider only the 11m outer section of the shaft (but should consider whole shaft), then I can assume that by considering of larger or smaller segments in different parts of the shaft, we can find similar “matches” with other stars at different epochs (for example, 10 Dra), however, I think no one will consider this seriously.

Dear Kanga, I think we have sufficiently discussed the issue about angle of inclination of the KCS shaft. It is obvious for me that the angle cannot be 45°, but should be less steep to match the observed shaft's exit to the casing plane.
