I reconstructed 'Pre-Malay' as I thought it may have been spoken earlier. It may not be accurate. I do see a correlation to the older IE tongues. I'm not saying PreMalay was an IE tongue, but that via trade or common roots there was a linguistic relationship shared (possibly via Ainu-Taiwan, Indu-Indonesian, wave of PrePIE-Malay?).
This is deeper than just a couple words matching, IMO. (I modified PreMalay a bit just now.)
