Slight correction, Chap 64 has Orion, Hordedef and Menkaura
Chap 137A has Hordedef
The account of Hordedef's inspection of the temples is echoed in the 'The Westcar Papyrus' that probably originated in the Middle Kingdom, Dyn 12.
Hordedef, a son of Khufu, was renowned as a famous sage. His mastaba tomb (G 7210 - 7220) adjoins the tomb of Kawab to the east. In a tomb in the Western Cemetery, dated late Old Kingdom, a man was 'honored before Hordedef' (imAxw xr Hr-Dd-f) suggesting a cult of Hordedef already in the late Old Kingdom.
The book I have is, 'The Egyptian Book of the Dead' trans. Faulkner; with additional translations, intro. and commentary by Dr. Ogden Goelet. Ist edit. 1994, 2nd revised edition 1998. The page is 106 - 7 for Chap. 64 and 119 for Chap. 137A.
The text mentioning Orion reads: "That which is upon the shoulders of Sah (sAH, 'Orion') is examined......"
