Hello Poundr17,
Taking the vertical distance between the base of the Pyramid and the floor of the KC's shafts at the Chamber walls to be 1728.59" (as is my wont) and 77 royal cubits as 1588.66", we end up 3317.25" above the base for the point at which the north shaft's floor intersects the Pyramid's north face. This puts us in the area of courses 109 and 110, which are roughly 13 feet above what is generally considered to be the most likely point of exit, i.e., courses 103/104 - it might even be courses 102/103, but let's not get picky...
I think that this roughly 13 feet is too big a difference for 77rc to be the intended vertical height.
I have a growing feeling that this 'close to 70rc' is the natural product of something else, and I'm now trying to find out what that something else may be.
Regards,
MJ
