... then the vertical heights of all four shafts is very close (within an inch or so) to the equivalent of 70 royal cubits (as 20.632"/524mms), which could be seen as one-quarter of the Pyramid's intended height.

Even in 3-dimensions it seems to involve quarters ... although I still like 20.618" for the length of a cubit ...
