or the insiduous efforts by creationists and IDers, who knowingly, and deliberately, are trying to undermine evolution, which they can justify to themselves because it again supports biblical myths. It's worth noting that their undermining also appeals to the ego of master racists, because they can then mentally place themselves on a pedestal above the foreign infidels.
