You still haven't shown anywhere where I claimed there WAS a correlation....

answers on a postcard, cause I never did.

Now, you admit there is a known relationship between tides and submarine earthquakes, and also that the tides are caused in part by the moon earth position relationship, I assume you will admit all that, so submarine earthquakes are indeed influenced, indirectly, by the moon.

So if maximum tides occur at lunar zyzyge, which they do, or slightly afterwards, it is indeed possible that there is an influence and a correlation. In fact, there is no doubt that there is an influence, whether it has any discernible effect is another thing.

This is not to say that there IS a correlation, its just to say that there MAY be a correlation. I don't know - lets wait and see some more - specialist scientists are also looking at this as I pointed out in previous threads. This is also not to say that every earthquake happens at the zyzyge, but that frequencies and severity may rise, perhaps even imperceptibly, around this period.

As for you accusations of lying, you know fine well I misquoted a third party document for my evidence, and that I corrected myself when I found out that it was factually wrong.

Unfortunately you do not seem so keen to correct yourself, which suggests that it is you who are being intellectually dishonest.

So, Mr Teflon Tonkins, where have I ever said there IS a correlation?
