I have to agree with you here, Joanne, in regards to schools. My son is in the third grade and has put on weight!!! I police what he eats at home but I was really shocked that he was being given seconds of certain foods (like pizza) and etc. We've cut down on the milk he drinks at home because he started to have body odor early. I guess this is related to hormones in cow's milk (and we don't have the opportunity here to purchase non-hormone milk--they just don't carry it.). Considering that there are times where he gets stinky, I wonder just how much milk they are letting him drink there as well...

I was even more so shocked when I asked him to do a sit up for me. He had said he did them at school but he couldn't do even one proper sit up!! Not even one!!! School is making my son obese!
