While I'm not denying the benefits to both the environment and general mental health of the world of small scale, non-intensive production there are health risks associated with organically produced food - various strains of e. coli are common on organically produced veggies, for example. That's because, unsurprisingly, manure sometimes contains pathogenic bacteria.
