Seriously though, although I am now opposed to 95% of what Hancock wrote (since it is at best speculative, and at worst, well, donkey poos), his book is useful in that it will pique people's interest in archaeology and the like...
But perhaps it should come with a health warning or a disclaimer, like cigarettes do...
