<HTML>Hi JoeRoyle
<<does it have to be water erosion?
I'm not even close to being a geologist ~lol~ I'm not in a position to judge Schoch's conclusions either. However I would defend his methodology - he is claiming to employ scientific method here - I see lots of dissent about his conclusions, but not much about whether his method is wrong.
>>In any case, would evidence for an early sphinx be evidence for an LC (I can imagine that some people might claim it as such)?
I don't think that evidence for an early Sphinx would be evidence for the GH LC - but neither do I think that it is irrelevant to him. Be interesting though.......
>>All I really remember about Schoch was his appearance on the Horizon programme, where I thought he was growing more and more skeptical of Yonaguni, despite being pressed by GH to 'come out' in support of a man-made origin.
Hmmmm......don't get me started on the Horizon show - interesting that of all the geolgists in all the world, Schoch was asked on Yonaguni but not on the Sphinx :-)
>>sorry not to be of more use on this - ask me about Hódmezövásárhely or Füzesabony culture!! (Magyar has great placenames)
Hey! JoeRoyle - what can you tell us about Hodmezovasarheoly or Fuzesabony culture? I can assure you that it will all be news to me ~lol~
Thanks for your reply. I just wondered whether you would distinguish the debate on the Age of the Sphinx from the debate on 'THE' LC :-)
