<HTML>I think that religion is not a good mix with science. However, spiritual awareness could be mixed with scientific practices. There should, in my opinion, be an overlap between spirituality and science. To place one in one box and the other in a separate box is not a good idea.
Science can explain ALL things in life eventually. The trouble is that there are many things which are not currently explained with science but may be in the distant future. Now, I feel that science should take this into account and be more accepting of the spiritual side of life. The trouble with the current format is that scientists reject spirituality out of hand because it is not yet explained by our science. This leads to a stigma with spirituality in the science world, and scientists therefore steer clear of what they see as a subject where they will not be taken as seriously. Therein lies the problem.
Now, organized religion offers up a whole new set of problems. There are set beliefs and views involved. Science should never be involved with religion as it causes so much friction and controversy. Religion is man-made and we know all we need to know about it.
Spirituality, though, is not man made. It is something we are born with and continues throughout the world. It is about the self.
So, in conclusion, I think we should have a more spiritual and moral involvement in science. Religion should be left out of the whole picture.
Kind Regards,
