Just checked and Ur (of The Chaldees [

In 1927 Leonard Woolley identified Ur Kasdim with the Sumerian city of Ur (founded c. 3800 BC), in southern Mesopotamia, where the Chaldeans settled much later (around the 9th century BC) Ur lay on the boundary of the region later called Kaldu (Chaldea, corresponding to Hebrew Kasdim) in the first millennium BCE. It was the sacred city of the moon god and the name "Camarina" is thought to be related to the much later appearing Arabic word for "moon": qamar. The identification of Sumerian Ur with Ur Kasdim accords with the view that Abraham's ancestors may have been moon-worshippers, an idea based on the possibility that the name of Abraham's father Terah is related to the Hebrew root for moon (y-r-h).
Thus not only is it very near to the northings of the three pyramids at Giza it's founding date could fit nicely into the chronology recently established for Egypt. I, however, would like to see a unified theory that would include both Sumerian legends and this new Egyptian chronology for in my studies they seem to have a common origin. So did this plan originate in Sumeria or was it developed in Egypt alone.
If this new chronology is correct and the positions of the pyramids are established by the movement of The Tropic of Cancer and timed by The Helical Rising of Sirius and the Sothic cycle of 1460/1461 years.(
The Sothic cycle or Canicular period is a period of 1,461 Egyptian civil years of 365 days each or 1,460 Julian years averaging 365 1/4days each) it could perhaps somewhat explain why I keep getting numbers and ratios that seem to be oriented to the"heavens"
And a bit more on Maimonides [

And this doesn't seem so far fetched at the moment ...
