Yes I concur with your reasoning but for one small thing. If we are going to assume that the measurements are accurate (they do seem to vary from measurer to measurer) then I hope you will agree that the measurement was indeed meant to be 200.0 cubits thus 104.71 metres = 4122.44 inches and divided by 200 gives us a cubit of 20.6122 of our inches. So rather than put down a pointless measurement in relation to the builders it should be 104.71 metres which is 200.0 cubits because they used a cubit of 20.6122 of our inches. Then that particular cubit measurement should work throughout that particular pyramid. Petrie almost always did this in his measurements. I still don't agree with his work in some cases because he has several different size cubits on the same structure.
Is that asking too much. Then our argument would simply be on the size of the cubit used. So in my opinion the measurement should be put down in cubits and then the size of the cubits in inches and anyone who cares could convert back to meters, or feet or anything they want. This is Egypt and it is all about cubits NOT METRES.
