Not necessarily ... According to a Western tradition (known to
Irenaeus , apparently, although not referenced in the Wiki) the number might have been 616. (Caird, 1966, 175).

I doubt it.
The first evidenced attempt at Christianization of the heavens was not carried out until 1627, by
Julius Schiller.

The Depression lasted for several years.

The terrible events of 9/11 was the result of many social and historical factors. I doubt if the location of Alnitak was one of them.
