Fair is fair.

My interpretation of the alignment is;
It is in no way related to the construction of the pyramids. It was sheer coincidence the alignment happened in the same millennia. I base this belief on;

1) The pyramids were built by humans and only humans.

2) They were not aware that Neptune existed and therefore, on their own, could have no concept of it's alignment.

3) There was no intervention by advanced galactic civilizations. Zip. None.

4) I base this on an advanced civilization being able to introduce such items as advanced flood control (like Aswan), advanced crop rotation, disease resistant food crops, a cure for arthritis and joint damage, etc. HAD such a civilization existed they would have introduced these basic staples to help everyone long before they introduced advanced build technology to help one man achieve eternal remembrance.

5) Since none of these advancements were introduced the advanced galactic civilization becomes a daydream.

6) There are events we do not understand that could coincide with the pyramid construction. As an example, imagine a large visible comet is discovered that circles the sun every 1,015 years. Imagine it's due back here in 2010ce.
As soon as one of us worked out it was in the night sky in 2055bce, it would become part of the "why they built it lore". And heaven help us if the course through the heavens was the precise angle of the East and west sides. What's the difference in this fantasy? The AE COULD have seen the imaginary comet, but not Neptune.
