You 'created a slide' to demonstrate what you - and also others - PERSONALLY LIKE. You don't have any AE evidence that Menkaure's was not meant to stand were it now stands. Menkaure built his pyramid on that particular spot, probably simply because he liked that spot and because it was the best available spot regarding stableness, quarries, etc. That's all.
