Thanks Don. Now - dare i say it - but this arrangement of the Gizamids with G3 'relocated' also offers us a much improved concordance of the 3 pyramid centres with the Orion belt asterism. I have not yet calculated the asterism mathematically but a quick overlay with photos of Orion's belt stars confirms the better concordance.

So, if we now place the belt stars on the ground at Giza in this fashion, begining with G3 we can determine the size and spatial distance of each of the other structures. Perhaps the defining dimension (Menkaure) was a simple doubling of Pi - 3.14 cubits - until it reached 201. Having defined the base unit for Menkaure, and with all the centres in place, everything else follows from that.
