again. whether he is right or not is not the point of this discussion. the fact is that he dug deeper. he sought to proove himself correct via evidence.

All I see from what you have referenced above is that Bauval sought further evidence to bolster his original hypothesis - not to change it because others forced him to accept it was "probably incorrect".
