I remain unconvinced in spite of reconsidering the issue;

Please note the following;

1) The 4 corner shadows do not touch the corners of the next pyramid. Menkare's falls only 1/2 way to Khufu's and Khufu's shadow "spears" a substantial way into Khafre's 3rd Pyramid.

2) The picture isn't taken at sunrise, or sunset, or high noon, or any other repeatable time of the day, we are told it's between 30 minutes and 15 minutes of sundown.

I'm very sorry, but with geometric objects constructed in a line aligned along identical cardinal points shadows are bound to be cast aligned.
With a free hand with any time of day to capture the shadows cast it would be amazing if they didn’t align.

I’m afraid this is an excellent example of “hindsight design”, taking data and interpolating back cause when there is no identified direct link.
