I don't have that. That's what the evidence states.

You've actually just raised another option. They might have put beautiful blocks of granite in the SC and the QC before putting the roofs on, and when they weren't needed, they were slabbed into pieces and used as portcullis doors.

No, I'm saying the subterranean chamber had a purpose in the final design. A ground-level chamber would not have had the same purpose and thus would not have sufficed.
