I've figured out where I've seen it.

It is highly similar to the solar cycle as evidenced in tree rings.

There is a current correlation between rainfall in the upper reaches of the Nile and the sunspot cycle. This is really two cycles with an 88 year cycle overlain on an 11 year cycle. Only the 35th layer is anomylous and it could simply have been used after a few previous layers were staged.

I suppose no one will see this post but the subject will arise again when, hopefully, it will be more relevant.
