I don't argue with the factuality of the comment... only its relevance to a discussion of the nature of the shafts and their purported purposes.
It would seem odd indeed to enter into a discussion of pyramid construction by talking about how fast the structure could have been erected if they had used laser transits to align steel framing under a poured concrete skin. It has no application at all to the discussion of Khufu's pyramid. Why bring it up?
There's also no point in the mentioning of the heliocentric solar system with a spherical earth and the knowledge of celestial bodies millions of light years away in regards to the aiming of two shafts in a Chalcolithic era pyramid. They did not understand our universe as we do. What we know of it says they did not convolute it the way Chris has suggested, with a bouncing sun and stars, either.
