well seeing as the debate is the just passed english law prohibiting fox hunting in england i think it would be a bit difficult to discuss this topic without a little nod atthe very least towards nationality.
Time to make myself a little clearer. I wouldn't approve of this kind of hunting no matter where it took place, Stepfordshire, Uppsala or Ulan Bator. And even less if it happened anywhere in Finland.
its the bundle of fluffy love image that is the real reason that fox hunting has been banned. not because of cruelty.
I'm not sure it is the bundle of flyffy love that most people see in it. They might just see a living entity with feelings of pain and panic. Do you disagree?
And yes, I'm aware of the nuisance it causes for the farmers, but how do you figure those countries that do not allow this kind of hunting do solve it? Foxes are foxes no matter where they are. Surely you agree that there must be another way of killing the exess of them? As far as the trapping goes, I don't like that either. But then it has been banned in many countries already.
