Shooting? The fact is that a very large number, probably a majority, of shot foxes are wounded, not killed outright. In the sort of countryside where foxes live, they can be exceptionally difficult to find -- especially without the aid of dogs. Wounded animals suffer, sometimes greatly.

Majoriyty of the foxes just wounded? Whome do they give the licences to use a gun?

By comparison, hunting with hounds is relatively quick and humane.

Hmmm, a quick bullet against hours of frantic chase ending with being ripped apart. And you actually conclude, that the hunting with hounds is more humaine. Oh well...
