First of all. If the G3 apex can see the G1 apex, this means that G1 apex can see the G3 apex. This means that it would make sense to climb either pyramid. Also, since G1 and G2 align to Heliopolis this means that it would also make sense to climb Khafre's pyramid to see Heliopolis in the direction of the Khufu pyramid capstone.

Then there is the question of whether the capstones were really placed on top of these pyramids. We cannot be sure they were. If the pyramids were observational "mountains" they might not have been fitted on the pyramids.

Also, although climbing on top of the pyramid after the casing stones were fitted would not have been easy, I don't think it would be impossible given the difficulty in erecting these pyramids the way they did in the first place.

Maybe some casing stones were not fitted on purpose so that people can climb on top of the pyramid.

Then there is the curious fact that the granite casing stones of G3 were not polished:
