The Khafre pyramid apex - Khufu pyramid apex direction leads to Heliopolis. This is not the case with the Menkaure pyramid apex - Khafre pyramid apex direction which is more to the North. As one can see from the picture, Heliopolis is visible from the apex of Menkaure's pyramid. But it would also have been visible if the pyramid was planned to be larger. So why did they plan the marginal line of site to G1 feature?
