You really should amend that last statement to read: which to the best of my knowledge there is no evidence whatever for.
Did you really think I would reveal anything of real importance, regarding my research, on this message board? As I told Mark, I am just planting seeds. The fact is Jammer, you were unable to explain the 1/10 inch penetration in 60 turns, in hard granite, the Ancient Egyptians were able to achieve with their hand operated core drills, were you?
There is unequivocal evidence Ancient Egyptians did use the inch and that is not based on what you refer to as my circular logic.

I am quite aware of where I stand regarding the evidence I have, what it states, but I do thank you for taking time to render your opinion.
