Hi All,
THOTIC SQUARE COMPASS as found here: [
www.gizaforhumanity.org] a square compass divided into 72 divisions, which is then divided into quadrants equaling 9 * 9 divisions each with an area of 81 square units. an example of how it works with G1 as follows:
G1 with the perimeter of a square equal to 1/10 (9!), divided by the 72 divisions of the Thotic square compass find: 362880 / 72 = 5040…5040 * 189/110 = 8659 7/11 = Base Red Pyramid if given in inches, but for G1 it is only necessary to employ one quadrant of the Thotic square compass.
To verify this one need go no further than the block ceiling, floor and walls of the Kings Chamber and through the use of conceptual mathematics will verify the Thotic square compass. The ceiling is comprised of nine stones, seven full stones with two partial stones one each on the north and south ends. Interpreting this as 7 full blocks and 2 partial blocks yielding 72, finding which is the square root of 5184, 72 / 9 = 8 and (72 / 9) ^2 = 64, verifying the divisions of the Thotic square compass. Further there are 7 blocks in the top course times 72 (72 * 7 = 504). 504 * 10 = 5040 which times the cubit is 8659 7/11 if given in inches.
In the fourth course there are 24 blocks 72 * 24 = 1728 (12^3) and 72/24 = 3
The third course is 20 blocks times the ceiling of 72 = 1440 divided by the top course of 7 yields a good value for the width of the Queens Chamber and with the customary dividing by 10 the first of the cubits 1440 / 7 = 205 5/7 inches (205 5/7 * 10) = 20 4/7 inches or 12/7 feet of which there are 441 (21^2) in the base of G1 and 1764 in the perimeter. 362880 / 1764 = 205 5/7 inches width of Queens Chamber, which is only 0.05 inch difference from Petrie's mean dimension.
The second course has 22 blocks which divided by the top course creates the familiar value of 22/7, or if multiplied by the top course. The bottom course of 27 blocks times the top course of 7 blocks = 189…189 times the four sides = 756, 189 times the above course is 22 = 4158 inches the base of G3, 189 * 24 = 4536, which in inches is 1/8 the base perimeter of G1. There is a litany of mathematics encoded within the blocks of the Kings Chamber which total 100 in number.
72 * sr = 63/11 the diameter of a circle or a sphere with a circumference of 36 and and by 14/11 one side of a 9 x 9 square as shown by one quadrant of the THOTIC SQUARE COMPASS. The beginning of G1’s dimensions can be reduced to a 9 x 9 square as the source shown here:
9 * 9 = 81 area of square equal to one quadrant of the Thotic square compass, therefore:
81 * 14/11 = 103 1/11 area of circle
103 1/11 * 4 = 412 4/11 square units = surface area of a 36-unit circumference sphere. 412 4/11 / sr = 5184...5184 * 7 = 1/10 * 9! or the base perimeter of G1.
In other words area of circle (103 1/11) / 1/28 sr = 36288 or inversely perimeter G1 36288 * 1/28 sr = area of circle or in plain numbers, where (1/28 sr = 1/352)
Find: 36288 * (1/352) / (14/11) = 9^2
Then: (1/352) / (14/11) = 1/448 or the smallest division shown on the cubit rods. The smallest division of the perimeter of G1 is 1/448, which is 36288 / 448 = 9^2 one quadrant of the Thotic square compass.
Or 9^2 * 448 = 1/10 (9!), which of course is the base perimeter of G1 in inches.
Leaving no other conclusion than the inch and the Thotic square compass were design units for G1.
