CO2 geysers leave calcium carbonates and the like mostly.
There's really no evidence that there has ever been any comprehensive exploration under Giza. In very recent times Hawass has been looking at the Osiris Shaft but he's still only been able to explore the cave in the bottoim to about 75'. So far as I can determine the water under here has never been analyzed! There's a cave on the other side of the plateau that is mostly unmapped and unexplored.
There are numerous reports of tunnels and caves in rock cut tombs but no comprehensive exploration of any to my knowledge.
I said three years ago that all or nearly all future discoveries will point to water rather than ramps. So far this has been true. Hawass found a well at Saqquarra, a cave at Giza, and Collins found another cave at Giza.
Of course I cheated making this prediction since you can go back to the time that ramps became the common assumption and see that ever since almost all the evidence found has supported the idea of water rather than ramps.
Thios is most unlikely to change ever if they used water rather than ramps.
