I'm referring to all those who spoke only in metaphor and saw apparitions while using magic wands; all those highly superstitious people who believed in multiple Gods, believed in floods that went on for forty days, and thought God might confuse us while striking down a tower. They thought fire and brimstone rained from the heavens and dragging mountains up ramps was a good passtime.

This is political correctness for the main part. Some of our ideas are little less looney yet we build skyscrapers and moon flights so that's OK.
