What Substance???
At the beginning of the section on ramps that you snipped the above quote of Lehner from there is a very clear disclaimer that you conveniently have neglected to add.
For the sake of demonstrating how intellectually dishonest you are I will take the time to type out the entire paragraph...
" Given the fact that the stones of a giant pyramid like Khufu's had to be raised as much as 146m(479 ft) from the ground, if a ramp was indeed used it would have been a colossal structure in it's own right. According to some ideas about it's shape, it would in fact have required as much or more material than the pyramid itself"
I find this very strange. You yourself have fallen back on the size of the ramping argument on a constant basis. And...It is you that allways insists that we look for the literal meaning of everything.
What literal meaning do you have for the word IF? as in..
"IF a ramp was used"
A word of advice...if you are going to base your arguments on quoting persons out of context, try to remember to not present those cherry picked quotes to someone who has the book you are MISquoting on a shelf within arm's reach of his computer chair.
Strawman and ludicrous I said
Strawman and ludicrous I maintain
