From the evidence of the Rhind MP, it's clear that the AE were able to perform calculations involving the area of a circle and its diameter; the ratio used is 256/81. Nothing is said about the circumference.

Why do you so frequently include academics' titles and descriptions when you refer to them? Could the reason for this be that you want to stress that people such as Petrie and Edwards were authorities in the field of Egyptology? Is this a way of suggesting that their positions as leaders in this area should of itself prevent any questioning or criticism?
Most people reading this thread will know perfectly well who Petrie was: they don't need to be reminded that he was a professor.

What facts? What you're referring to, in the passages just quoted, are
inferences.
