The mother of the king was a vulture in a basket? Just kidding, I know what you mean, I think. Mother as vulture could work if we add the cobra to the crown.

If the said king was Pepi, I like "the dazzling white crown", "thick" or of great substance, the "Lady of the Great House", as his mother much better. Maybe she wore a "dazzling white crown", hence Pepi's mother was divine, which makes him automagically divine, one would think.

Aha, "Horus as the god of kingship". Maybe the "bottle" in the Tanis pyramid is his live throne. I'm not serious.

This thought crossed my mind, but I didn't know what to do with the "lever", so I used as as a catapult. Didn't want to call it ramp so as not to conjure up an image of hundreds of slaves hauling stones unable to hold on to their radishes.

Definately not a feather. If you look at it for about 3 or 4 seconds, a figure like a cross with arms and a dot where a "head" would be, appears.

Somehow that doesn't work, I don't see loafs of bread, meat, or fruits etc. Gold bars?

Does the inscription say some about the ritual? There is a passage in the Papyrus of Ani:
"I have seen the god Abet-ka placing the "cord; the child is tied with fetters, and the rope of the god Ab-ka is drawn tight....Behold me "I am born, I came forth in the form of a living "Khu, and the human beings who are upon the "earth ascribe praise [onto me]." That would work with the "dazzling white crown" of Pepi's mother, but I don't believe it myself.

Depends on what anybody interprets as grain.

That's what I said.

Unless Horus came forth as the Falcon who "flies up" like an eagle-eyes spirit, I can't hold forth with this.

In word, carvings, and paintings, there are more snakes, serpents, and cobras, and even two-legged dragons, their High priests,in the AE civilization than one can count. Other than astronomical, they are all symbols transformation, renewal and wisdom, in all ancient civilization, not cultures, the former being universal.
Brilliant were those Ancients, and we know they possessed the secrets of nature and life, or we wouldn't be obssessed with finding out. We need to know.
Hope ya'll root for the Giants
