There is no contradiction, because the current archaeological evidence from Upper Egypt and the Sahara 6,000 years ago states very clearly that these were all predominantly local, indigenous African populations, not migrants from outside Africa.

the egyptians were protraying themselves and strongest in lower egypt
the north - mediterran africa - and not the dark continent africa which was basically the undiscovered portion of africa that were hard to get at.
we all know the stories that set was dark and horus who ruled lower egypt took upper egypt with his armies, then they built temples for horus there - not before.
plus egyptians enemies were to south of aswan the nubians who they felt were a different race.
they viewed osiris as being green - just like went osiris body flowed out of nile to mediterrian and tree grew in phoeician city - and they claimed it grew in a nice location fitting for osiris - osiris was green - and he didnt come from egypt.
one has to think of where osiris came with his knowledge and his offspring that maded egypt what it was and the kings that ruled egypt.
plus everyone seems to think africa is black because term dark continent - and that comes from alot of africa was unexplored - and within there was alot of black tribes.
but as for the know portion of africa - the part around the mediterran and lower egypt -
your dreaming if you think whites werent there - especially when we know that area was focal point of waves of interaction of the homo species.
around the mediterran people were basically white and there is a tendency now for some to refer to this dark continent and black africa - which is referring to parts deeper- and we know these parts have nothing to do what ancient egyptian stories protray themselves as
